Having worked as a personal trainer for a number of years, Jodie saw first-hand how chaotic peoples’ lives can be. She also recognised how nutritious breakfast meals can fall by the wayside. With this in mind and with the support of her mentors, she jumped at the chance to create a solution, culminating in the launch of My Breakfast Box before the recent pandemic!
The young subscription business has since gone from strength to strength! There’s a wide range of bars, granolas and porridges available to choose from and My Breakfast Box has featured in numerous publications, including The Guardian, The Daily Mirror and The Yorkshire Post.
In our wide-ranging conversation, we discuss her choice of going down the subscription box route as opposed to working with retailers; planning for a successful launch; trademark mistakes; winning gold as a Team GB athlete; and so, SO much more!
